It’s That Time of Year

It’s that time of year where we gather together with friends and family to celebrate that holiday which is connected to our faith. Not one is more important than the other, for to say it is is to say that one faith is more important the others.

It is also the longest night of the year. From here on out the days will start to get longer. I cannot express how happy that makes me. I am always annoyed to find myself spending all the daylight hours stuck inside…not to mention, I loathe driving at night. lol

Anyway…I wanted to wish you a Belated Happy Hanukkah,  a Blessed Yule, Merry Christmas, Kwanza Blessings, and to the fans of Seinfeld…Happy Festivus! I know there are more holidays during this time of year that I didn’t mention, and I apologize. No slight was intended. What ever holiday you celebrate, whatever the meaning of the season is to you, I wish you Love and Light, Joy and Laughter, and Happiness.

Until next week…Happy Reading!

Playing Catch Up!

It’s been one of those weeks. You know the kind. It’s the kind where you’re pedaling your legs as fast as you can, trying to get from point A to point B, only to find out you’re on a stationary bike.

This is going to be a really, REALLY short post. lol. Yes, I could ramble on forever, but there are things that need doing, and I’ve been appointed to do them. I need a raise. lol

Anyway….I want to say, Whatever holiday you choose to celebrate or not celebrate, I wish you Tolerance of those who believe and celebrate differently than you and Love and Light for all your days.

Until next week….Happy Reading!

Yule, Light, and rare events

Tis the season, so they say. And, I suppose ‘they’ are right. It is a season.
The larger question is, what season is it for you?

For me, this season is many things. It is Yule for one, the Winter Solstice and day of shortest light. I wait with great anticipation for the days to get longer and the dark half of the year to begin its decline toward the light half. It is also the approaching Cold Moon of December, which, for the first time in many years, will fall on the Christmas holiday. Christmas in not my holiday, but for the full moon, I will be celebrating.

It is also a time of other celebrations. My mate and nephew both have birthdays before the end of the year, and as you may have heard, our house here is celebrating TWO years of publishing success. We are all excited with much to look forward to.

If the holidays don’t have you frantic this weekend, OR perhaps if they do…stop by our Facebook event for some fun. 20 hours of authors talking books and doing giveaways…it’s bound to be a lot of fun. We hope to see you there.

Until next time – Happy Holidays, whichever holiday you are celebrating!
