Light at the end of the tunnel

I’m sitting at my desk in my new house. Yes, I’m surrounded by boxes yet to be unpacked, but that will come in time. The good news is that thanks to my daughter and a few awesome friends, we have made the move from one home to another. I knew I had a lot of stuff, but the amount to go through was staggering. Clothing was donated, pieces found new homes, a lot was discarded, and precious memories were rediscovered. The challenge is to find places for everything in the new house. I have a feeling that storage unit I rented for just a couple of months may be in our possession a tad longer than anticipated.

I’ve gone through a lot emotionally, and I’m more than ready for my life to settle into some kind of normalcy. Now that I’ve got my office pretty much set up, I’m itching to get to work on the final edits of To Kill a Demon. Wednesday will start my five days off and you can bet I’ll be right here working on that manuscript. Hopefully, I can get it all together and formatted in that time. I think Sully and Larke have waited long enough. It’s time for you to meet them.

Until next week,

~Madison
