I’ve been racing against the clock. The events of the first half of 2016 presented me with delay after delay. I didn’t fight them. It was too hard.
Unfortunately, they culminated in a tiny window to finish multiple projects. I have been running, sitting full and hard on the red line, sucking fumes to keep moving. I’m nearly where I need to be….but another stretch of caffeine forced production remains on the agenda.
I hit ‘the end’ on one project at 3:45 this morning. Shove one thing over, pull another onto the desk. The stack is smaller by one, but smaller. I’ll take that success, even with the high cost.
If I make the majority of the deadlines I have in the next 72 hours, I have a massage scheduled for Friday morning. I’m counting hours and words. The race is on. I’m nearly out of gas, but so long as there’s vapor in the tank, you’ll find me in the cave cranking.
See you on the other side. I’m hoping there’s sunlight when I emerge. -Sav.
