Give credit where credit is due

We all give credit to the ones that help us. We thank the bank teller, the mail person, the person that moves over so you can get down the aisle at the grocery store. We only stop 2 days a year to thank the one person that will do anything for you. Of course, there are some that don’t deserve the title of mother and have not earned the respect, but this post is for the ones that have been there with us.

Mother’s Day and her birthday are the 2 days every year that we dedicate a whole day to showing our appreciation. There are so many things that she does for us without even thinking about it.

I am grown with a family of my own and my mom still helps me out every day. She is one of the people that support me the most. She has never failed to be there for me when I needed her, even when I didn’t know that I needed her.

She teaches us to walk, talk and act like actual people instead of terrors we are all inclined to be as toddlers. As we get over she helps us with our homework stressing just as much as we are by not being sure how to do the math problem. She teaches us to drive and how to treat our significant other and how to deal with the heartbreak when the first one does not last through all time.

She is the person who helps to guide us into being the people that we are. She deserves more than just the 2 days. She deserves our appreciation every day for all that she has endured into making sure that we are productive people that she can be proud of.

For every mother out there Happy Mother’s Day. You truly deserve this honor. For my mom, you are my biggest fan and supporter. You have taught me how to get to where I am in life. I love you more than I can ever express and know that I would not be the person that I am without you.
