I’ve been home almost a week now since my debut book signing at TNEE in Atlanta. I still haven’t caught up on my rest. I think I need a vacation to recover from my vacation. Regardless, those four days were one of the highlights of my life.
What better setting could a reader and/or author ask for than to be surrounded by others of the same mind set? Reacquainting yourself with old friends and making new ones, all with the same goal in mind… sharing the love of books. Every day I was there was filled with activities, parties and awesome people. I truly didn’t want it to stop.
But, as they say, all good things must come to an end. So here I am, back home again, in the real world. Catching up on the backlog of work, trying to settle back into a routine. I want to start writing again, but my mind is still spinning. As soon as the dust settles and I can focus, it’s back to the grindstone. I have a lot of work left on Eternal Embrace before it’s ready for beta readers and there’s a possibility of a new project in the near future. More about that one later. For now, I’m focusing on writing and promoting Phoenix Rising. Those are my priorities.
Till next week, read a good book!
