Yule, Light, and rare events

Tis the season, so they say. And, I suppose ‘they’ are right. It is a season.
The larger question is, what season is it for you?

For me, this season is many things. It is Yule for one, the Winter Solstice and day of shortest light. I wait with great anticipation for the days to get longer and the dark half of the year to begin its decline toward the light half. It is also the approaching Cold Moon of December, which, for the first time in many years, will fall on the Christmas holiday. Christmas in not my holiday, but for the full moon, I will be celebrating.

It is also a time of other celebrations. My mate and nephew both have birthdays before the end of the year, and as you may have heard, our house here is celebrating TWO years of publishing success. We are all excited with much to look forward to.

If the holidays don’t have you frantic this weekend, OR perhaps if they do…stop by our Facebook event for some fun. 20 hours of authors talking books and doing giveaways…it’s bound to be a lot of fun. We hope to see you there.

Until next time – Happy Holidays, whichever holiday you are celebrating!
