Procrastination’s Price

I am the first to admit that I’m a procrastinator. I think we all are to a degree. The thing I have come to realize is that once I’ve procrastinated a spell, not only do I not have production, but it is harder and harder to get motivated to get back into the groove.

What do you do to get back on track? Please share your ideas and motivations to get back into the habit, because good writing is just that. A habit.

Mine is a bit broken. I want to write. I know the stories I’m writing. I just cannot get my arse into motion to do the deed. It isn’t like sex where there is a physical, empirical need to do it. In some ways it’s just the opposite. My body just says no to the chair. 🙂

So, fire ’em up and send ’em in. How do you get back?

  1. By telling myself that no dreams realised without efforts. I want to be able to write well and my dream is be a decent writer than can make changes no matter how small. Blogging is one of the efforts to go there.
